Julie called me in the week to let me know that a long time member, George Gilchrist was to get wed on Saturday at North Shields Registry office. Mick, Dave, John & Dot, Joe & Julie and me all joined up to celebrate with George and his new wife,Gulmira, to be. We were joined by George's daughter, Marisia, who some will know from the Scottish tours, and his bride and her 15 year old daughter both from Kazakhstan.

A lovely day for a wedding

Once all the photos were done it was a quick scoot along to the Wooden Doll where Bill and Carole had prepared a sumptuous wedding breakfast; with Champagne!

A great time was had by all and we all wish George, Gulmira, Alana and Marisia all the best for the future, which in the short term is a three year work committment in Russia.

P.S. Alana liked the blue of my Yamaha, because it matched her dress, but prefered the Harley's!
