Sunday 20th July 2008 Chapter Sunday Run to Mrs Green's Pie shop in Barrow-in-Furness, it all started by Two Hairy Bikers doing one of their shows and extolling the virtues of this particular Pie Shop.

Mick Ingledew and Jon Ince had prepared a long run for their Road Crew stint at organising a day out for the Chapter. The focus of the trip was Mrs Greens Pie shop in Barrow-in-Furness as made famous by the hairy bikers. Here is the route:

  Route

About thirty bikes were at Just Harleys and another twenty or so at the RV at Scotch Corner. Graham Nicol and I decided to ride together ahead of the group; arriving at the pie shop we got stuck in! Fabulous and well worth the 270 mile round trip. Graham rode back via the A66 I went to Hartside for a cuppa and wait for the final meeting plave of the group but had to leave before they got there.

All in all a fabulous day in the saddle and a fitting last ride on my Ulysses before it goes to its new owner. Here are some snaps of the day.
