Our Director Jule Horsefield, asked me to look after the Geordie HOG mileage Awards. HOG offer three mileage programmes.

Mileage Program.
This is the individuals ridden miles on any Harley-Davidson, however only miles ridden after submitting the Mileage Programe Form count. Steve has this as a Form Download on the Geordie Chapter website or you can get it here.

Chapter Challenge.
By registering on the above programme you will automatically enroll for the Chapter Challenge. This is a new initiative to see which Chapter rides the most and which UK HOG member rides the most. HOG UK are running this programme and my experience is if they can cock it up they will so I'm having nothing to do with it as it will go to he who shouts the most, call me cynical and I'll agree!

Geordie Chapter Iron Butt Award
This is the bit I'm interested in! It has been won by only three people since it started in 1998, Albert van der Eijk, Jono Badcock and David Badcock (Jono was a pillion rider). The lowest mileage it was won at was 12,000 in the first year by Albert and the highest 28612 by Dave Badcock in 2006. You can include Harley rentals in this by submitting a copy of the hire agreement form. To join up just email me your start mileage and registration number of any Harley (or Buell) you ride and during the year I will make it my business to check your oddometer; but basically I'll take your word.
