13^th January 2007 and I got me a Ulysses!

It is a completely different kind of bike and it's the second time I've tried to live with three bikes; can I justify the extravagance of three bikes?  Well of course not and of course I can, just like life opinions, Ying and Yang.  To me it seems completely logical to have a Touring bike, a Sports Adventure bike and a Classic bike; and if you've read this far, it sits right with you too!

After 153 miles today the biggest difference is that cars do not see you.  The road presence of a Glide is one thing but a black small bike is apparently invisible, and my riding style has to take that onboard for survival in that jungle we call 'roads'.

It is now almost 5,000 that I and the Ulysses have been acquainted and a very happy time too.  I ride the bike to work almost everyday now and although I only live one mile from work I regularly take up to 30 miles to get there.
