Perfect weather if a little chilly for the three lads to get those bikes out. Graham used his recently refurbished touring bike to give me a chance to keep up, first stop was Ellerton Lakes where the Mallards were practicing their skating skills; very funny! Then North all the way up to Middleton Tyas then West to Scotch Corner, crossing the A1 (M) and onto Richmond where we had our picnic lunch at the old railway station. We then rode old railway and along the side of the river Swale past the Abbey near Easby. We stumbled across Brompton Lakes, they look gorgeous. Looking for Kingfishers on the Swale Bryony, Jason and Graham's Granddaughter turned up from their dog walk.

What a great ride.
